The GasCheck Desktop is designed to work in tough and cold damp environments such as packing facilities, chilled meat rooms and cold storage environments where condensation kills electronics and accurate measurement matters most. The optional integrated heater prevents moisture buildup and keeps internal components at a stable operating temperature regardless of ambient conditions, protecting both the instrument and the integrity of every reading it takes.

The GasCheck Desktop shares the same measurement platform and operational simplicity as the rest of the GasCheck range . What distinguishes it is environmental resilience. The internal heater option eliminates the condensation risk that compromises standard instruments when moved between ambient and chilled spaces — a routine occurrence in any facility handling fresh meat, dairy, or temperature-controlled produce. The stainless-steel housing withstands regular cleaning and incidental liquid contact without concern.

Two sensor options are available to match the application precisely. Electrochemical sensors offer cost-effective, reliable O2 measurement for standard MAP quality control. Zirconia sensors deliver enhanced accuracy and longevity in demanding or high-throughput environments where sensor replacement frequency becomes a consideration. Both versions are available with an optional lithium-ion battery, extending operation to 250 measurements without mains power — useful for facilities where testing points are remote from power outlets.
